We can diagnose and repair all sorts of hardware and software problems. If your PC is having problems like unexplained crashing, restarting, blue screens, pop-ups, no power, freezing, hanging on start-up, problems with email/Internet or maybe just running slow then we will be able to help you get your computer back up and running as quickly as possible. We will let you know what the problem is and make suggestions to prevent them from happening in the future.

PC Tune Up / Health Check

Keeping your computer up to date and secure is as important as regular servicing of your car to ensure smooth running. Your computer needs constant care and will become slower and may have problems if not tuned regularly. This means keeping it free of dust, malicious software and viruses and ensuring the hard drive is maintained to reduce problems in the future.

You may be surprised how much faster your computer runs after being serviced, as over time your computer gets bogged down with unnecessary data and unwanted pieces of software. We recommend that your computer is tuned every 6 months to ensure smooth running and prevent future problems.

As part of our fixed priced Health Check we will:

• Check for and remove viruses and spyware/adware.
• Remove temporary files that are no longer required by the system, speeding and freeing up hard drive space.
• Check that your hard disk is functioning correctly and efficiently, ensuring it is free from defects and errors.
• Clean the computer inside and out to remove dust and dirt to prevent and damage.
• Carry out various tasks to optimise performance and speed.

Technicians Code Of Practice

Our IT Technicians are required to follow a strict set of rules when handing sensitive customer data during a repair and while in our hands.

The code forbids any data being transferred to removable media that is not the property of Texnet-IT and any customer data is wiped from such media before the end of the working day and verified by a workshop manager. All of our technicians handing customer data are CRB checked as are the workshop managers and Director. Regular and spot checks are made to ensure the code is being followed.
